Water Practice

Water practice, while learning to row, is typically more relaxing and less physically intense than the land practices.
This changes quickly, especially during the spring semester, where intensity rapidly becomes more important,
second only to the stroke technique which can make or break races.

Presently, the team owns four 8-man boats, two 4-man boats, one 2-man boat, and a single. Our team typically
practices and races sweep (one oar per person) in the fours and eights. A few weeks into the
semester, you will quickly find yourself assigned to a particular boat
and that the rest of your boat's crew will remain static.
