Non rowing board members are required to pay rec rower fees to continue to hold their position

Fundraising

Fundraising is one of the most important parts of crew. Everyone knows that everything in rowing is expensive, and everyone in crew is a college student. This doesn't make for the best possible combination, so some extra work is required to make sure everything goes smoothly. We are putting together many fundraising options to help students cover dues, spring break, and regatta costs. We are hoping that by the end of our fundraising efforts, these events will cost us, personally, little or nothing.

In the past, we have worked concerts in Charlotte, and parking at UNC's basketball games. We have also held yard sales, bake sales, and sold Champions cards. Finally, the team also seeks corporate sponsors and part of that sponsorship helps the rower that sought out and secured the sponsor.

We are generally open to any fundraising ideas. In the past we have sold oars with NC State Crew's colors to local bars and restaurants to include in their decor.
