Spring 2009 Attendance Policy

Team,

For all returners this policy will be in effect starting the first day of practice (the 20th of January for girls, 21st for guys). We’re looking forward to a great semester!

 

 

Spring 2009 Attendance Policy:

(note: there have been changes since last season):

-Varsity Rowers will receive one “free” absence, Novice Rowers will receive two “free” absences.

 

-There is only allowed one practice per week to be missed due to class conflicts, and these missed practices will be made up.

 

-Make up practices, either due to your class conflict or any absence after your free ones have been used, will be scheduled on Sundays at 4pm. Make ups will be held in the erg room and there will be a captain present. These make ups are mandatory! You are not allowed on the water after the Sunday prior to your missed practice until you have completed the piece with the supervision of a captain.

 

-Going to the opposite sex’s practices is not an option for any Returning rowers.

 

-There will be no 5:40am wake up calls for morning practice! Practice STARTS at 5:40am.

 

-The regatta schedule has been e-mailed out. We need notification if you cannot make it to any regattas before January 30th.
